Lafayette and Bushwick Ave Fire 2025

    On March 16th, 2025 a three alarm fire spread through much of an apartment building in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick in the early afternoon. Firefighter crews quickly took control of the scene, entering a neighboring car lot and extending ladders to the structure’s rooftop. Pedestrians and buildings residents alike filled the sidewalk as police officers and Red Cross aid workers talked with those who’d been displaced.
